Totes Magotes: Pitchfork’s Best Albums of the Decade So Far…

Totes Magotes

Random thoughts on what I’m listening to or thinking about lately
The venerable bastion of music snobbery, Pitchfork.com, recently published their “Best Albums of the Decade So Far.” I perused the list, and saw a handful of albums that would also be on my list. Yet, the overwhelming majority of the list was music that everyone has said we are “supposed to like,” music they have been gushing about, but that I just find either A. uninteresting; or B. absolutely horrible.  So, thanks but no thanks Pitchfork. I’m not intentionally trying to be a music snob here, I just guess that I don’t like what much of the music blog scene says I’m supposed to.
